Chocoholic Frolic: Cocoa Products

When you’re picking out some sweets for your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day, consider this: Chocolate (especially dark chocolate) is great for your skin.

It’s full of antioxidants—in some cases more than red wine and green tea—and according to a study in the Journal of Nutrition a few years ago, women who drank a cocoa drink high in flavonols (the antioxidants commonly found in dark chocolate) had improved skin texture and hydration, plus less redness in response to UV exposure.

If you don’t have a sweet tooth, or you’d like to get your Valentine something a little more unique for the big day than a box of chocolates, read on to discover some great, cocoa-packed products. Happy almost Valentine’s Day! —Aleigh
